Mimi’s Manners Featured in Orlando lifestyle magazine
The popular lifestyle magazine for Orlando residents (Orlando Home & Leisure magazine) featured a two-page story about Mimi’s Manners in their June/July issue.
Writer Kristen Manieri attended a class held at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in March and wrote about the children’s experience with a lesson in manners.
One student enthusiastically exclaimed that Mimi’s Manners was “almost as good as the Pirate and Princess Party” (at Disney)!
Below are a few excerpts from the article. ![]()
“It’s obvious that Willis understands children. She seems to anticipate their never-ending need to know why and always explains the motives behind the manners.”
“Willis covers all sorts of situations, such as where to place your dinner napkin if you leave the table and what to do if you’re served something you don’t like–do doubt a common predicament for picky eaters. She uses mnemonic tricks to help her charges remember rules, such as which water glass and bread plate belongs to whom.”
“The most magical thing about Mimi’s Manners is that Willis makes learning etiquette incredibly fun.”
Mimi’s Manners will be offered at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando on July 12 and August 1, 2008. For more information, please contact the resort directly at 407-206-2400.
